I live Louisiana and would like like to become a wedding consultant/wedding planner? How to I get started?

I don’t know what it is but every free moment I have I am planning and I am not getting married until October! I already have my dress and ordered a sample of my brides maids dress. Booked caterer, met with florist and selected the cake. Made centerpieces, ordered favors and invitations…..I am fully obsessed. The crazy part…so is my fiance! Are you this way too?

My wedding is August 30th, 23 days away now… and so far the ONLY thing that has stressed me out beyond belief is RSVPs….

People calling, texting, emailing, messages thru myspace instead of sending i the card… I put a damn stamp on there, all you have to do it mail it in!!!!!!! Is that too hard??

Part of that stress is I have to meet a 00 food cost minimun and thats exactly 200 people… so I HAVE to meet that quota.

But… for YOU, whats been or was your most stressful part of your wedding planning?

If you are currently planning (or have planned your wedding), what do you do when you need to unwind and de-stress? Between working full-time, going to school full-time and planning this wedding I feel like I’m going to go crazy lol

How much say should I have? Since I am paying for my tux ( to own) should I be able to select it my self? Provided it’s in the color of the wedding. Do I have to let her see it before the wedding? I would rather make it a surprise.
