King James)Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
New World Translation ) 23 He said to them: “YOU will indeed drink my cup, but this sitting down at my right hand and my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
Why did Jesus tell the mother of these two Apostles that it was not up to him(Jesus) to assign who would set at his(Jesus’) right & who would set at his(Jesus’) left? And who did Jesus say held that right?
Keep in mind that this was pertaining to the heavenly Kingdom where Christ will rule for a 1000 years along with the bride class of High Priest, so it was not pertaining to the time when Christ was here on earth.
Who is God the Father compared to Jesus
the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ is in the Bible, you haven’t read it??
The Kingdom that was being talked about is the Heavenly Kingdom, so the Father decides who will set beside his Son once the Heavenly Kingdom is established—This means that Jesus is not 1/3rd of a godhead(Trinity!) Jesus is God’s Son!
2 Co 4:4 there are those so blind as those that have eyes but can not see!
The Bible is a two edge sword, anyone that desputes that Jesus is Gods Son & not part of a 3 diety in one triune godhead feels the edge of this sword as Matt 20:23 clearly shows that it is Jesus’ Father, the only true God Jehovah(YHWH;LORD;GOD;Yehovah) & not Jesus who has the right to say who is at Jesus’ right hand, and who is at Jesus’ left hand!
