I am not into myself but I don’t want to miss important moments. It is an Important day and I want to be able to document everything so I can weed out the photos I don’t want to be around. My fiancee and I are paying for the wedding. Don’t be so critical please, I was hoping to get some advice.
@cjsmummy… thank you!!! I am planning all by myself and really dont have any idea. im just sort of guessing. you are very helpful!!
This is the brides 2nd marriage. The 1st time around (about 7 years ago) she had the big white wedding and a big shower hosted by her mother. Now they are doing it all over again and it seems a little much.
It’s the groom’s 1st marriage so I could understand his mother hosting a shower for his side of the family but it seems tacky for the bride’s side to invite the same people again to a "Monetary Shower".
Is this appropriate?
I recently went to a bachlorette party that i was told was adults only, i and two other friends specially made arrangments for our kids to be at other places for the night. After being there for a few hours the brides daughter who is 8 showed up. Her daughter made a scene coming in and started demanding everyones attention by literally saying look at me and my new dress, and i ignored her and tried to carry on with what we were doing. Throughout the night she kept barging in on whatever it was we were doing so i finally said " I thought this was supposed to be a bachlorette party with no kids" her mom just said " well she didnt want to stay at her dads" …….i was shocked that she would make a point of telling the rest of us no kids but would let her daughter come. We couldnt talk openly or even play cards because her daughter kept interrupting. I know she has a right to let her daughter do whatever she wants but if im told no kids then can i be irritated she let hers come?

A creative name for a wedding planning business for brides with a small budget?
I’m looking for a creative name that targets couples with a small budget, between the 5,00-10,000 range. I live in an area where people want as nice of a wedding as possible, but the wedding is usually planned in a couple months and is small. I’m trying to find something that targets the couples on a budget. There’s already a business called "Brides on a budget" or ones with "whatever type of bride" on a budget. So nothing like that please.

Need help ASAP! Can you invite ladies to a bridal shower only? Wedding/reception list is only about 1/3 of the
groom’s side of the family because of space issues, but can you invite the rest of the women in the grooms family ONLY to the bridal shower? Is this wrong? If it is acceptable, how do you do so without hurting anyones feelings for not including them in the wedding /reception?
The mother of the bride has picked the church and hall and they are small, but nice, but in doing so, this eliminates MANY of the grooms inlaws that SHOW-UP to just about any function. How can they be included in the festivities without inpeding on the brides moms plans for a small wedding and reception. Plus —if they are offended, they may choose not to attend the grooms brother’s high school graduation party which will be aout 7 months later. How do you make everyone happy? Hate to see the couple or brother short changed….these are supposed to be happy times…

As a Bride-to be- what qualities or features do you value most in a wedding planning website or service?
I’m wondering about qualities ranging from friendliness, to planning tools, to ease of operation (for a website) or ease of finding what you want (for a store), budget considerations, etc… Think Brides.com, Martha, or regular old wedding blogs.
Are there any musicals like seven brides for seven brothers, or The Music Man that involves two sisters as the lead roles?
Don’t be a Troll
I want to open a boutique that will sell bridal and prom/homecoming/etc dresses. I am looking for a unique name. My name is Candice so I’m not sure about maybe working "Candy" into the name of the store or not. I would like the name to be appealing to teenagers but also still bring in the brides for business. Thank you in advance!
