How to Make a Bridal Bouquet? – as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats. For this bridal bouquet I was going to use one type of flower, and Peonies are in season, so I thought they would be a good choice to make the bridal bouquet. So you make sure that the stems are clean, you take all the foliage off. Cut them, you know, at the reasonable length if they are really long, it is a good idea to cut them a little shorter. It is just easier to handle them. Then you, what you are going to do is spiral the flowers around one another. So you start with one flower, that you hold loosely in your hand. And so you keep on adding the flowers like this until you are satisfied with the look of your bouquet. Here we have got the bouquet that is ready to be tied together and you take flower tape and wrap the stems with the tape. And so everything is nicely bound together. And then you clip all the stems at the same length. And then you take the ribbon and you start at lower end and you twist the bouquet. That is the easiest way to do it. And then you wrap the ribbon upwards. So the hand that holds the ribbon does not really move. It is the bouquet that gets twisted. and then you come down a little bit. You cut the ribbon and then you turn it over. And you can use some pins. Put some pins here to secure the ribbon. So
