My mom is dying and I am trying to plan my wedding with the hopes that she will still be here for it. My mom also really wants the same thing. My sister, who is a maid of honor is fighting me on everything, ultimately because she is jealous that I will have our mom at my wedding and she wont. How can I make the wedding planning special for her so she stops ruining the big day for everyone?

How to Make a Bridal Bouquet?

How to Make a Bridal Bouquet? – as part of the Wedding series by GeoBeats. For this bridal bouquet I was going to use one type of flower, and Peonies are in season, so I thought they would be a good choice to make the bridal bouquet. So you make sure that the stems are clean, you take all the foliage off. Cut them, you know, at the reasonable length if they are really long, it is a good idea to cut them a little shorter. It is just easier to handle them. Then you, what you are going to do is spiral the flowers around one another. So you start with one flower, that you hold loosely in your hand. The next flower you will cross like that and then you twist the two flowers slightly. And then you add the next one, the same binding point and you twist a little bit. And so you keep on adding the flowers like this until you are satisfied with the look of your bouquet. Here we have got the bouquet that is ready to be tied together and you take flower tape and wrap the stems with the tape. And so everything is nicely bound together. And then you clip all the stems at the same length. And then you take the ribbon and you start at lower end and you twist the bouquet. That is the easiest way to do it. And then you wrap the ribbon upwards. So the hand that holds the ribbon does not really move. It is the bouquet that gets twisted. and then you come down a little bit. You cut the ribbon and then you turn it over. And you can use some pins. Put some pins here to secure the ribbon. So

I live in California, if that changes anything.
I want to know what lengths I need to go to to obtain a wedding planning license, as long as what other requisites there are, such as needing a business license and whatever else may be required.

I’m planning to have a business in a few years, once |’m done all my schooling for it, am done my wedding planning course, am taking my cake decorating this fall, and will be taking my photography one when I can afford it.

the one I’ve come up with is

Weddings and Special Occasion Planning, Cakes and Photography

anyone have any other ideas?

My wedding is August 30th, 23 days away now… and so far the ONLY thing that has stressed me out beyond belief is RSVPs….

People calling, texting, emailing, messages thru myspace instead of sending i the card… I put a damn stamp on there, all you have to do it mail it in!!!!!!! Is that too hard??

Part of that stress is I have to meet a 00 food cost minimun and thats exactly 200 people… so I HAVE to meet that quota.

But… for YOU, whats been or was your most stressful part of your wedding planning?

I want to take a wedding planning course . I was hoping to get some advice on a reputable school. I have a brochure for QC it looks good but I want to be sure.
thank for any info

I’m sure it’s possible to get everything together 6 or so months, but many wedding planning gurus seem to recommend at least 12 months now. We’ll likely be doing something that I feel is smaller than the norm with about 30-40 guests.

Can we pull it off? What problems will arise? Any other advice would be great as well!

Thanks!

What are some good websites that give ideas for wedding planning? I keep thinking I want something so small with only a few people. Im such a control freak and an emotional person that planning something big will not be worth it in the long run. Am i wrong on that? Kepp in mind Im only 21 and will be working, going to school fulltime and trying to plan this at one time.
